hi everybody,
I am italian, living in Thailand. First of all, sorry for my bad english.
I am owner of electric guitar Charvel 750XL, and sadly I have to sell it.
Anyway, I check a lot around internet about the prices, and I found so very differences about that, maybe depending on the geographic area and the conditions of the guitar, and also on the modifications of electronic and hardware.

I would like to know your opinions about the prices of this guitar.
I don't know why, but I cannot add some photos (explain to me how to do)
I write the specifications here below.

Model: Charvel 750XL
Year of production: 1989
Serial number: C904686
color: metallic black
pickup: 2 humbuckers jackson
connection neck-body: set neck construction
scale of neck: short scale neck 24.750"
wood of the body: mahogany (declared by Charvel, but some persons wrote in internet that they also found different wood like basswood or alder)
wood of cover body: maple
wood of neck mahogany
wood of fingerboard: rosewood
neck inlays: shark fins up-down (reverse jackson inlays)
body thickness: very high (heavy weight guitar)
deep bevels on horns (carved out areas)
bridge: tremolo Schaller-Floyd Rose Patented, Charvel stamped
knob tone
knob volume
pickup switch: 5 positions switch
tuning machines: jackson
All parts are original, no modifications or changes

The guitar is in excellent condition. The sound is the same at the beginning, great! There is a small decoloration on the regulators of the strings' tension on the tremolo.

I will post some photos when I understand how to do.

Thanks in advance

Bye

I would post this in the Rig talk section for more views/replies.

sah5150 or psycodave or chubtone and greazygoo and a few others are experts on this subject I believe. I'll move the thread and maybe they will chime in.

I had a 750 but mine was definately an ebony fretboard. Metallic blue. Great guitar I wish I wouldn't have traded it in but I got 750 off of a fender custom shop not was about 15 years ago. I see them sell here and there and that still seems to be a normal price. Others may know more

Thanks.
When I wrote I saw different prices, I meant very different. I remember that some months ago I saw around 1150$ (the price was about 1080 euro) and the guitar was a modified model, because the pickups were seymour duncan and not jackson.
And I read few years ago, that a 750xl, same specs of Shawn Lane's guitar, has been sold at about 3000$ (I guess this buyer can be a collectionist).
So, sometimes to understand the prices rules is difficult, the buyer could be a player who wants specific sound, or a collectionist who wants the original piece.

1100 euro seems like the top of the range for these, and you can find them down to 8-900 or so. Despite the short production run and nice specs, these actually aren´t as rare as you might think.
