Select input in preset

I'm using a Torpedo Live with my lone guitar amp head for the moment. I'm thinking about buying a Kemper and wants to run it through the Torpedo Live.

The thing is though, that I would like to select which input to use in the preset. For example, the presets for my amp head should use the Speaker Input and the Kemper should use the Line Input.

Is this possible? I went through the manual and did not find any answer.

Nobody?

If this is not possible using software, does any of you know any hardware based solution?

This will be hard to realize for 2 reasons, the selection between line and loadbox is done by the physical action of plugging in a plug into the line input.

In order to do this, you'd need to a) modify the jack and make this switching status have external control b) then have this control under a programmable device that is slaved via midi.

All this is possible but you'd be voiding the warranty and adding a significant amount of expense.

You could use an external loadbox and then have its output and the Kemper go through a midi controlled a/b input selection box (Lehle 3at1sGos for example)

I think it would be cheaper to get a Torpedo CAB for the Kemper and then have a Y cable(passive mixer) to combine the 2 Torpedos. By programming some patches with the volumes off, midi program changes could be used to select between the amp and the Kemper. (note the Y cable needs to have a resistor network so a stock Y cable is not recommended) A turnkey passive mixer in a mini pedal box can also be bought at many music stores.

Thanks for the reply.

I somewhat suspected the input selection to be hardwired, but needed to know for sure.

I guess I will buy a Kemper to use with the Live and in the future expand the rig with some sort of mixer to switch between amp and Kemper.
