Selling my Egnater M4

Well guys I tried and tried but I have been fooling myself into really liking this tone. No matter what module I use it still sounds thin. I think I'm going back to just using my Triaxis and Rockmaster. I have EG5, MHG, SL2 and ERect modules. The unit is 3 months old. Make me an offer. :(
 
You know, the more I think about, all this high end gear is really overrated. Tone is in the fingers. I'm thinking of selling the whole rig and settling down with something simple and cheap. Maybe a Line6 head with a Behringer 4x12.

I really dug your clips . especially the EG5 Ozzy .it sounded great .
was it when it got up to gigging level you felt it thined out?

all the clips ive heard have sounded really good .and pretty full so im surprised about thin .

FWIW I play lynch, Ratt, Scorps .and never got along with Kt88's . EL34's is kinda what I dug for all the 80s stuff .

Dont go to the Line6 .

Owning a guitar shop I can tell you that there is a lot of amps that don't sound good and no matter if your Larry Carlton or Vai you can't get them to sound good. I personlly have gone through 4 different hign end amps in the last 2 years looking for a great tone that suits me. Many of those cost alot more then the Mod 50 that I have now. I have heard from a couple of poeple that said their M4 sounded a little thin but none of them said the Mod 50 did. Maybe it's something to do with the power and preamp section being seprate. But I don't know I have never tried a M4. Please tell me a its only a April Fools joke. :confused:

Holy Shit that was funny!!!!!!!I should have known with the clips you produced that it would be a cold day in hell before you would give that up :lol: :LOL:
 
Whenever you see I may replace an M4 with a line6 ..i was suspicious ...

I thought that but someone just did that and replaced thier MOD with a spidervalve :confused:

I really started wondering when you went to the Behringer/Line 6 comment. Started smelling funny about then.

I still bought it.
