I'm sadden by this decision, but after thinking about it long and hard.... I'm letting my VH4 go. I wanted a schmidt, but it's too expensive...... I've been really changing my taste drastically for the last year, and I'm going all out on vintage gear.

I'm even selling my Edwards Explorer too to get a Telecaster.

I want a vintage amp and well lets face it Diezels sound modern no matter what. I seldom play hard rock/metal anymore, and for those very rare times I want to, I have my Duesentrieb Little Joe that breathes fire when needed.

I'm going to buy a Two-Rock Jet or a used Custom Reverb Sig, those go for less than 3,000 so I should be able to buy one without putting anymore money.

I'm asking for U.S.$3,300 shipped. It's a 2001 model updated to current specs by Papa (Peter D.)

it's in mint condition too btw

:) go to the Classified section for the Spam thread
:)

thank you papa.... I hope to own a schmidt in the near future... I think it'll be my diezel..... or maybe in the future you'll design a totally vintage amp ala dumble/fender deluxe etc etc.... :)

cheers papa, I will forever be part of this family even if I don't own one atm.

This whole thing about calling Peter "papa" freaks me out.

Good luck with the sale.

hey FourT6and2, you're new to the family, you'll end up calling him papa too :D

Let me tell you one thing for certain about owning IN to the family of Diezel... Herr Diezel takes care of all his musical children just as if he were the Papa Grande! And for this, I am a very proud owner AND family member.

I've never felt as connected with an amp as I do my V, and now I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger on an Einstein and a Herbert - not only because they're the best quality and toneful machines out there, but because I know I have 'family' who've got my back. Can't say that about any other amp company out there...

Thanks Papa!
V.

lol, what happens when you're bad? Does Peter spank you?

Yea family.....the kind the attack you like wolves when you have something negative to say about their amps.

Is it sick that I already have a VH4 and I sort of want to buy it?

c'mon guys, it's in great condition and Peter sprayed some magic dust in it! :D

btw, It's 3,300 shipped to the US..... if you're in Europe it'll be way more of course.

Feel free to leave this forum! Democracy rules! You have the right to go anytime.

So back to topic. I would like to buy it, but i dont have the permission! :D

Joey, that's simply not fair mate:)
You should have sold it to me, when you were still in Europe. Phew.... it will be a fortune to ship it here, not to mention VAT and customs duties that they will definitely put. Things got extremely bad with the last from Jan 1. Everything above 15 EUR imported outside of EU get's VAT and some other tax - it is ridiculous.

Is there a way to ship it to a repair tech near you as a "repair", which gets no VAT, etc. applied, then pick it up from him, rather then send it directly to you and pay the tax?

Oooh Joey.. you are finally selling your VH4, dude?? :( We will miss your metal clips!!!

Good luck with the selling my friend!
