Just a shameless plug for anyone in the NY/NJ area looking for something to do tonight... My band, The Dance Floor Remix will be playing Mexicali Blues Cafe in Teaneck, NJ (http://www.mexicalilive.com). Set Time is 11pm, Cover is $7.

I'll be using my MOD 50 w/ BMan and SL2 modules through the Eggie 1x12. Thought some of you may be around for the NY/NJ Amp Show tomorrow... If anyone wants to come out and hear the rig (or take it for a spin if they let us after the show since we are the last band), please do so!

I'll be there,"NOT",love to see you guys but that is quite a drive for me :D Rock on

Dude, rock it out man!! Hey, I've got some of the chinese silver dragon pre amp tubes on the way. Let me know how they work out in your SL2 tonight!!

Hey Matt

yeah, how'd it go?

Jersey's Scene/bands are the best.

in the mid seventies I hung around the Wildwood/Pt Pleasant NJ circuit.
What a rock circuit with band like "Sam The Band" ,"Bourquix" "Baby Blue" "Good Rats". the old Springsteen circuit.

Anyone ever hear these bands before?

Hey Guys,

It was a pretty good gig. We were pretty tight, though I botched a couple solos. Darn allergies and this head cold had me a little out of it. My X2 wireless was having drop out issues I need to look into as well. Tone was fantastic however! (Of Course)

The venue was a little bit not our scene. Before us were an acoustic act and then a 70's rock meets Coldplay meets Indie Jam Band called Bill Owens Five who were good at their style no doubt and cool guys. But, the place is more suited to lighter rock or blues. At one point a buddy of mine went to the sound man to ask for more vocals and he replied "There are no more vocals. These guys are playing too f*cking loud!" I mean, I wish he would have told us this maybe through the monitors and we could have taken care of that.... but oh well. We had a good time and the people who came out to see us despite the rain said seemed to enjoy it.

Ive put up some pics if anyone wants to check em out:
