Shiva 20th - Changing the jewel on the power light.....

OK, I am well aware that this topic has likely been beaten to death, but I searched in the Bogner sub forum and couldn't find any thread about this.

I have a Shiva 20th that has the white jewel on the power light. I would really like to replace it with a red or green jewel. I think it's super easy to do, but can someone school me on how it's done? I think it can be done without taking the chassis out of the head box, right?

Also, if anyone has any suggestions where to order a replacement jewel from, it would be appreciated.

Please Rob tell me you are joking It screws in and out like any amp jewell light. You have to be kidding Get a genuine Fender replacement light. They are much better than the after markets. Better and darker color.

Honestly, I have just never bothered tinkering around with it or any other jewel light. I've had the chassis pulled numerous times and have poked around inside my amps, but the power lamp on the front panel was just never anything I have payed much attention to.

I had my 20th Shiva next to my CCV today and decided two white jewel lights is, well, two too many! With the gold faceplate on the Shiva, I'm thinking a red jewel (a la Marshall) is the way to go. Might stick a blue or purple on the CCV.

I am now going to go bury my head in the sand......
