was at practice earlier and the amp made a little crackle noise then no sound, amp lights up all tubes light up no red plate or anything just no sound now. resistor,fuse?
it was a fuse, put another in and tube was sparking, shut it off real fast. 3rd set of tubes in 6 months and all were biased to bogners specs. dont know why its eating tubes like this.
just put in another set of tubes RubyKT88-STR, and i will say im going back to the JJ kt88. i cant dial out the shrill highs and the bass is flubby. the jj's are even across the strings and bass is tight.
