Really liking this amp, it's the first Bogner I've really gotten along with. But there's always more possibilities right. I was thinking how much cooler this amp would be if the mode button was footswitchable for nice lower gain tones. Since the mode button is soo close to the bright switch i wonder if that's a problem, and I'm wondering if i could use the empty hole my amp has since it's a non-reverb model.

Basically I'm trying to see if it's worth bringing to a local tech or if it's a waste of a trip?

Danyeo goes Bogner! Is it the KT88 model?
How much more gain than the stock Shiva.
Shiva with the right boost, broken in V30's is a hell of an amp.

I'd say a good amount more than a stock Shiva. What i like is that i plug in and play and hardly touch the controls. Yes KT88's and i sounds great so i won't bother playing with power tubes. The 20th is fine without a boost but i sometimes kick in an OD820. I only use the footswitchable boost for leads.

I love my Shiva 20th. I did put in 6550's. Call up Charlie P at Bogner and have him ask one of the techs there if it's possible to add a switch. They are very helpful at Bogner HQ. This amp was a sleeper for awhile. I guess most thought it would be similar to the regular Shiva. It's a different amp and a killer one at that.
