I'm still deciding on what Midi pedal to get for the Vh4, I'd like to see some Midi footswitch porn! :D
:D

well, so far I've seen the FCB1010, which is great because it has lots of storage bottons and two expression pedals, plus it's cheap, but the size is kind of putting me off.

I've seen the Rocktron Midi Mate, some other cool stuff guys have recommended me.....

there's obviously the columbus and the GC pro, which are both cool as hell, but $$$

I'm willing to buy used of course.... but I don't wanna spend more than 150 - 200 euros, becuase all I'll do is 4 chn. storange, mute, insert in ch. 1 and loop. so I don't really need 2,000 presets.....

what do you recommend ? :)

Can't be arsed with taking a picture, but if all you want is to switch your VH4, I would highly recommend Axess Electronics (http://www.axess-electronics.com). Very road worthy and Mario makes good stuff (as opposed to off the shelf, made in China junk). Not too pricey either.

I use a Bradshaw switcher and RS10 controller to loop effects and switch channels, if needed, but rarely.

The Alxess MFC5 looks sweet, small, compact, but only 3 ready to switch bottons :(

I think I'll go with the FCB1010 besides I can find it here used for 90 euros.

Just got my Columbus today (used) and I am wow'ed at the build quality. It's Diezel! Super bright lights, built like a tank high quality switches like an All Access. See if you can find a used one! ;)

I too picked up a used Columbus on ebay for cheap. The coolest thing is those bright blue lights. But, I can't figure what I would ever use it for. In the closet with the other excess.

Great setup Dave. Clean and to the point like a rack setup should be. How do you like the Stroborack? I want one, but didn't know how acurate they are compared to one of thier analog strobes....

Here is my MIDI switcher.... Still haven't hooked it up. I have a GCX to go with it....

Thanks....

I like it, i had a 490 for ages, and one of the older peterson that looked like a fish finder before that. I'm still adjusting to the lcd vs a real strobe (mainly because i've had a real strobe forever), but i like it has all the offsets i need programmed in, and i can put it in a rack bag vs having to lug the 490 around. Plus you can hav a message scroll across the front when you arent using it :)

I had a ground control pro before I got the fx1 and expander. I would never have the fx1 if i didnt get a smoking deal on the package, i figured i'd never have to buy another one so go for it.
