Shure SM57 microphone from December of 1985. This was the first production year after the Unidyne SM57 and Shure was still using parts for the Unidyne mics (i.e. older 2-hole body, 3-wire PCB with ground wire, and transformer with the top copper piece).

This mic has the forward sound and higher output of the USA-made SM57 Unidyne but for half the price.
