Why can't the E2 switching system be integrated into a potential E4? space constraint?

BTW, I have 8 dual modules now. I should buy another M4 chassis, shouldn't I? :aww:

Why yes... yes you should.

It'll be the most expensive module carrying case ever. :lol: :LOL:

How do you know that?Do you know the price ?Btw,where can i find more infos about the M4 >< E2 ?Since i'm already asking a lot of questions... :bash: (i'm on a roll :) )...What is the E2 switching system?Is it a serial/parall. loop switch?What's the difference with the M4?Ok,enough questions for today...sorry guys! :confused:

M4:

guitar---->M4---->power amp

E2:

guitar---->E2----->FX return or Power amp in
E2----->guitar through to input of separate preamp
FX send--->back into E2's switching.

Okay, that might have come out complicated there :confused:

Is there any other device on the market that can put an M4 switchable in the loop of another amp - so you can still use that amp's preamp but cab switch in your M4 instead of it when you wish?

RJM RG16, GCX, GRX4, Patchmate. Basically any looping device can do it. Before I had the RT2/50, I used to run the M4 and Mod 50 with the M4 using the power amp of the Mod 50 via an RJM RG16. With the looper I could select either preamp (M4 or Mod 50) giving access to 6 modules and then both fed into the Mod 50's power section. It worked great. Same thing the E2 will do, but it already has the looper built in.

Jeff has posted previously a target price in the range of $1200 with two modules for the E2.

Ok stop the fighting. We are shooting for $1200 but might be even lower once I work my magic!

So just to be sure, it's $1200 with modules, or $1200 empty?
