Since We're Talking Cabs - Diezel Vs. Mills?

Just wondering, has anyone compared a Mills 4x12 Afterburner cab to a Diezel Cab?

I was thinking of selling one of my cabs to get a different cab, i think i like the k-100's by themselves, lots of low end, and sometimes overly bass heavy...and all my other cabs are v30's, and I have been playing the Herbert with my MF400 (k100) and my Recto Traditional (v30) together, and I like the mix, so would probably do an X-pattern cab.

How do Diezel Cabs play with other amps other than Diezel?
 
I have both. I love both. So how is that for not helping you at all?

Is that a plastic sword haning on the far right side of the pics of amp heads. Like the one the nerdy dungeons and dragons kid, (the one that played McLovin in Super Bad) had in ' Role Models' ? Only suitable for a warlock.....

yes... i had this opportunity last sat... Mills excellent, but still not as smooth and defined as my diezel cabs... The diezel fl k100 cab sounds like magic thru any head, we have had a bunch over here and guys just cant say enuff of how perfect sounding it is, cuts awesome live , records excellent, they are smooth, well defined, tight, just so balanced... the mills was nice but it did not have that mojo my diezel cab has...thats coming from 4 guitarists who tried it..just my opinion...good luck
 
yes.

I had some guest come visit from out of town.

I can't remember where they found that thing, but they brought here for their kids to play with, then left it when they left.

It has been floating around the house since then.

since I have my amps sitting on that rack it seemed like a place to toss it.

well this comes down to speaker choice doesnt it?

what speakers are in the Mills? V30? K100? v30/k100?

what in the Diezel? All K100's?
or a V-30/k100 mix?

what in the Diezel? All K100's?

You can get Mills with any speakers: all V30's, all K100's or V30/K100 mix. You can get Diezel with all V30's or all K100's. But also with V30/K100 if special ordered?
 
Mills had all v30. I have 2 diezels v30xk100 and an all k100.for me diezel hands down,for others whatever u asked an opinion.I gave it,that's all it is...opinion

Yes as well in ur world.best musical advice I got in a long time dam cab has mojo in it...lol.pauly I ordered a Dar forza quattro check that amp out...wicked.

but that's not a direct comparison.


a mills v30 cab vs a Diezel v30 cab is more direct comparison.

a v30 to k100 comparison is no comparison.

at all. totally differently voiced speakers. i am using to 4x12s with the Herbert, a v30 and k100 and kind of like it.

but to say that the diezel with k100's blows away the mills with v30's isn't a good comparison because its like comparing marshall to mesa.
they do the same thing, but sounds way different.
