I'm thinking about trying some 9.5's on my Anderson, and GHS + SIT are the main 2 companies that seem to make this gauge. Which are slinkier? Which ones sound better and last longer? I used Boomers a few years back, and they were ok. I switched to D'addario's and never looked back. I've got no problem trying them again. I've never tried SIT's though...

Well strings are very, very subjective but I have always had great luck with GHS strings. I tried the SIT's before too and they were fine but I dig GHS. They are a harder feeling string to me which I like so you may not but they always last a long time for me. Body chemistry has a ton to do with that so you may or may not have the same results.

I use Boomers -- I like them a lot. I used to use DR's but for some reason I soured on them,...kinda stiff. Boomers are a good all around string IMO. I use the 9.5's on my Guild S-100.
