Sl2X close to Randall Scary??

Just curious .I have a Randall Mr Scary that I dig .it is pretty aggressive in the mids to my ears .
From the description the SL2X sounds like it would have similar characteristics.
are they that similar in voicing? does anyone know.

I am assuming the EGG would have a lot more gain on the B

They're both very similar.

I never had the chance to do an apples to apples comparison, but I would say the Scary is a little more aggressive in the high mids, while the SL2X is a little more refined, and versatile.

I had SL2x and Friedman modded Mr. Scary and they were very similar while a/b'ing them. Especially the B channel of SL2x was very close to Mr. Scary. However, I cannot tell how modded Mr. Scary differs from a stock one. Never played one.

The DF Scary I owned had a touch more gain but a slightly smoother/more compressed high end than stock..I had them side by side.
