I don't care what anyone says, GnR was an amazing rock n' roll band.

Slash had some killer tone in that clip too.

There were incredible for the time. I swear we tried to learn about every song off of Appetite. We were usually too lazy to finish most of em though hehe. I think a lot of musicians aren't impressed if you're not playing in 13/8 time and sweep picking 16th notes at 250bpm. I like stuff that the average person can get in to, and GnR did a ton of that. Some of their later stuff was a bit bleh, but AFD cancels most of that out IMO. Lies was pretty cool too.

technique-wise, nothing special, but phrasing, not many can compare to that, plus the guy is simply badass!!!

I love the look of those guitars but the Classic NT I had just didn't hang right when standing. I felt I was always pulling the neck up, and I felt I had to reach out to far when playing the first couple of frets.

In my Opinion:

Appetite for Destruction was magic. An instant rock and Roll classic

teh rest..? meh  :gethim:

I love Appetite. When it came out everyone was hair, makeup, glam shit. GnR was a dirty fucking rock n roll band. Awesome.
