Small knots in my maple neck?

Hi all.. I have my Jackson Stars TN-01 Soloist neck unfinished, then refinished.. by the way, if you’re about Jackson Stars.. they’re Japan market only instruments. Built in the Chushin-Gakki factory that did all the high end Jap-Jackson back in the day, but when they didn’t want to renew their contract when Fender took over, they weren’t allowed to call their custom instruments Jacksons. CG however felt there was still a market and started building high end, on par with US quality guitars as Jacksons in the US... also the same guys who build the Caparisons. Anyways... so I had my neck refinished and discovered a few small knots. I’ve had this guitar for 9 years now and haven’t had a problem with the neck, but is it a detrimental factor to ultimately be concerned with? Thoughts? I’ve attached photos. And specs on the guitar.. maple neck thru with mahogany wings instead of alder which I prefer way more and an EMG 81/85 set with a Floyd Pro, (I don’t think it’s an original) and GOTOH tuners.

If you can't feel those knots i'd say no need to worry about them.

If the neck has been solid for 9 years, I think it's all good.

Of course it's all-good, mate.

I mean, think of what a bird's-eye maple neck is - a crapload of almost-knots in the wood, and no apparently-detrimental effect on tone or playability.

Awesome... I mean I guess I’m more concerned about it detracting from any potential value of the guitar or if maple necks with knots in them such as mine are ‘cosmetically flawed’ woods. The guitar was made in the Chushin Gakki plant in ‘05 for the Japan market only. I picked it up in 2010 while I was stationed in Tokyo with the Navy and brought it back with me. I’ve owned a Gibson LP Custom among other high end guitars, but there’s some mojo to this Jap Jackson that it’s just the nicest playing, best sounding of all the guitars I own. I always wanted a Jackson neck where it’d have a natural finish up to where that Jackson scarf joint is and then have it go back to body color. When I got it back is when I noticed the knots in the wood. I’ve never had neck of warping or any other playability issues with it up to now

I love my MIJ Jacksons. They are great guitars for the money.

I'm pretty sure refinishing the neck was more detrimental to the value than the knots in the wood.

Good point.
