So I bought a Herbert....

And it arrived today. The wait is killing me! I bought it from a forumite and had to wait for my sale on my Cameron to go through to have the cash. Then had to wait for it to be shipped from CA to NY. It arrived today RIGHT before I had to leave for work and now with my roommate asleep, it looks like I now have to wait until tomorrow to fire it up At least I have the place to myself tomorrow!

The first 2 month were magical. Now I just got used to the awesome tone. Every time I enter a local music store & hear some amp is like a reminder of how good my amps sound.
Herbert is the only amp that made me play electric guitar for the fun of playing, before I used to touch el guitar only during recording session. It stays on 4-6 hours every time I fire it up. I wish I had more time

I was thinking of selling my Uber lately, but I just can't let it go, it's another miracle.

Diezel, Bogner & Dr Z made me pretty much forget about the rest of the amp makers.


WOW, man, do you play your Uberschall with that much gain?

that's Fuzzyguitars' old Herbert. I've played that thing A LOT! Very good head. We picked ours up from around the same time last year. Let me know if you want any history on the head. BTW, the back panel was in my garage for the better part of 2007 and early 2008!!!
