So it seems like each week at band rehearsal I keep bringing different amps, just trying to see what will work best for me. This week I brought the VH4 to the studio and got some pretty good recordings of it I think...
This is a new song the band is currently working on, so this version isn't final, but was just for us to get an idea...the working title is called "I Need A Dollar."
It didn't seem like I was very loud in the studio, probably due to the scooped T-75's in the cab, but on the video it appears I was a little too loud and a little middy (i turned the mids up to cut a little better). But that just means you guys get to hear more VH4!!
Enjoy.

It sure does cut through the mix well.

That's just it.

On video, it seems to great.
standing next to it, with Earplugs, it was a little drowned out.
could be the earplugs drown out the frequencies...
but the cab was also facing the person with the camera, so...

Just weird...

It DID seem to fit well in the mix, just did not stand out like my Twin Jet, which stood out too much with way too much mids. VH4 with mids turned up sounds like I could turn them down a little bit...sounds a little icepicky to me, at least in this video.

very deceiving in the studio last night...but I blame it totally on the studio's Marshall 1960A (T-75's), whereas I normally play with V30's at least.

strange.

I liked the romantic touch of the lyrics the most :D

Seriously G75Ts and a VH4 is pretty cool for live stuff IMO, they do cut well IMO.

Different song but check Bogner forum about twin jet

aah found it thanks!!!

they do have different personalities...in this case the VH4 sounds awesome for your playing!

V's kickass in a recording environment... They cut. They've got presence. They're full.

I :inlove: :inlove: love :inlove: :inlove: my VH4S!!

V.
