I wrote Penzey’s spices as I found their website so politically charged and tried to explain that as a small business, the idea is to not alienate half your potential clientele with your personal political views and the owner actually wrote me back and basically told me to go to hell and he didn’t want or need business from anyone who didn’t see eye to eye with him.
Interesting way of conducting business.

On the PayPal front, I agree they are “acting” like this was some sort of mistake, but we all should know that’s not true. It’s scary considering the direct access they have to our bank accounts.

PP is dog shit. Obviously their product can be convenient and is a means to an end. But as a seller they have held a lot of cash from me for a long period of time and it leaves you heavily at the mercy of the buyer to not be an assclown to jailbreak the funds. As a buyer (the side I am on more) I have had them do some fairly egregious things. I truly loathe the company.
