.....I could play an entire show with the SL module!
Seriously, that module and a good overdrive and you are totally set! I had a gig pop up last week--a last minute to fill in for a classic/80's cover rock band who's guitar player was down and out w/ the flu. I figured no problem, I have the Mod 50 I'll be good. I grabbed the the T/D and SL2 (so I thought) and packed up to go. Get to soundcheck and fire up the amp and notice, I grabbed the SL instead. I figured I would be fine, but I didn't realize how awesome that module is by itself! I ended up setting the Ch A clean and B dirty and stepped on my Sparkle Drive for more gain. Expression in the loop for Delay and Oh my God, it sounded too good. I never used the T/D once all night. I could live on the SL module alone.
The next day I tried it with my new pedal purchase--BK Butler Tube Driver and it is violin tone for days.
I am just really blown away with how good that module sounds set up clean A and Dirty B.

I guess I missed the boat on this considering I've had it for several months. Just never really used it like this.

Kinda stuff I don't like to hear since I don't own an SL  GAS

I got another SL man. You're missing out. I have no clue why I sold it in the first place ;). Only modules I don't have are the BMAN and E-rect :). It's a must have if you like that warm Marshall clean type tone...slightly overdriven...and a warm medium gain rhythm.

The SL is really great. Although I did trade mine for a COD which I'm having fun with, but I could easily pick up another SL as it is fantastic.

The SL is definitely the "go-to" module in my rig.

If Egnater ever decides to do a one-module amp, the SL would be the perfect choice for it.

Glad it's getting some love!

Whatever, dude. I've heard your chops--you could've had just the T/D clean on Chan A and sounded great all night.
