Oh come on ya hack, you don't need the latest gear to blow everyone away

I played on at my local GC and it's not a platinum store at all. We never get anything sent here. Heck, they don't even have the Line 6 spider valve heads here...not sure why because I'm sure these guys would buy that amp up. I've heard a lot of good things from people that play a variety of musical styles, but being that I play metal, It wasn't my bag. Has a TON of features on it, really too many for me to be honest. That's not to say it's a bad amp though, just not for me.

I played one a few months ago and I liked it. Great clean too which was a bonus for me. Great price too. I'll probably own one down the road.

sure i do!!

they have several here in austin but the employees act like you are retarded when you ask to play them the look like solid amps!

They're available at most GCs. I picked up the 2x12 combo and love! It can do metal but only on channel 4.

Well whatever it is I'm sure the Tourmaster can handle it. Very versitle amp

We have the tourmasters here in the GC as well. Newer amps for GC I think, not a platinum store. They sound great, love the cleans!! nice distortion, though maybe just enough on tap to really drive it, I think it can do heavy stuff, but has a bit of a sag, and not that tight distortion one might like for metal type stuff, but lovely creamy sound.

our guitar center has one as well and I actually used it to audition the soapbar SE I just bought. It didn't have much gain going on but enough and overall was decent. Didn't wow me but I didn't get to crank it up either.

I really want to try one of these too. Too bad I live in BFE still. All the clean clips sound killer.

To those who have played these---how would these do for a classic/southern rock/hot country sound? I've kinda been jiving with the strat lately, so I was curious on your thoughts???

It'd cover those genre's aboslutely beautifully. I've been getting back into my strat lately and a lot of it is due to the Tourmaster. Absolutely amazing cleans and you can add everything from just a touch of hair to it to the filthy old school ZZ Top tones.

Cool, I've pretty much got the high gain stuff covered with my other amps, so this seems like a great candidate for my next amp.

These amps look pretty awesome, the price tag for a brand new one isn't bad either. Was checking out some vids of it and man they sound awesome.
