wow - i cant get my strat to sound like that through my VH4 !! :aww:
thats a great sound

thank you man..... but you CAN!

just don't be afraid to crank the gain, turn the deep/bass VERY low, and crank the PResence.

my settings were

Gain 4:00
Treble: 12:00
Mid: 1:00
Bass: 8:00
Deep: 9:00
PResence: 3:00

kind of weird, but it works great, because strat pups are loose as f^$* and obviously, NOT high output, so you need to crank the gain lower the bass to tighten it up and crank the pres. to get definition and attack

nop, EL34s (It's the Einstein)

My Vh4 has KT77 (great tubes!)

I cannot compare since mine came with 6L6, and the KT77 hace more crunch, but retain a great 6L6 fatness and warmth!

do you use this same setting in a live situation??

Great sound!!
Is this done with one of your EMG Strats? If so, which ones do you have?

I'm thinking about swapping the 81 with a 89 in the bridge...
