Most rare and sought after versions of greenbacks (white voice coil, pre-rola). More aggressive, tighter and faster sounding than the later brown voice coil greenbacks and no honky mids either. One of them has some coil rub sadly (the second one photographed). The other is all good, no issues
Asking $650 shipped for the good one and $300 shipped for the one with coil rub. Not sure if repairable or not without a recone. You’d need a speaker tech to verify. I’ve had some some ‘60’s celestions with coil rub that were able to be fixed, but can’t make any promises on others
Possible trades would be the following (+/- cash as needed)
Altec 417’s (series 1)
‘80’s 1st version V30’s/Marshall Vintage’s
Celestion Redbacks
Any Fivre tubes
GE 5881’s USA versions
Any RFT Tubes
Siemens 6L6GC’s
Tesla EL84’s
Tesla KT88S’s
pre-Winged C Svetlana EL34’s or 6L6’
‘60’s Gretsch Supertrons
‘50’s Gretsch Filtertron PAF’s
Vintage Hagstrom pickups
Big Jam PQ pedal
Ibanez PQ401
DeArmond Square Wave
