1969 Superbass Plexi (Superlead Specs)
I bought this 100 watt Marshall about 10 years ago. It’s always been stored in a hard flight case. I only take it out a few times a year to crank it up. It still has the Bulgin plug which has been modified for length -really nice. I had Gooby amps in town set it up for me. He changed the resistor to Superlead specs. It’s tighter and meaner now as opposed to the ‘bass set up that sounds better with a single coil type guitar/sound. It’s more Van Halen, AC/DC, Def Leppard now. Could be easily changed back- no other modifications have been done since I have owned it. And this “mod” doesn’t create holes or any physical change to the amp.
The amp has been well cared for and is in good condition considering its age.
I don’t play professionally anymore and am liquidating most gear. Pick yourself up a killer amp at a great price! $3600
