1983 Mesa Mark IIC+ HG (100/60) $5500 shipped and insured. If you're local NJ/NY/PA hit me up and I'll throw in a cool 4x12 for the full $5500.

Bought in 2021. Sent out to Mike B in 2022 for the + mod and added EQ - Finished up in July 2022. I have all the paperwork. After Mike's compensation, Mesa's fees and other bologna I'm close to breaking even on this amp. Mike +'d the amp on the back, but also signed and dated the board inside the amp. 100 Transformer. SP10 Board. Recapped in 2018. + Mod, EQ and Servicing done in July 2022. Brand new headshell with black leather tolex and a wicker grille.

Here's an extremely high res photo of the amp and the guts. I'm a professional photographer and spent a lot of time trying to get the highest resolution photographs of these amps and their circuits. You can read nearly every single piece of visible text on caps, octocouplers/LDRs and even the wires. I got tired of blurry pics online taken with a nokia from 1993. If you really want, I can even have a 24"x36" print sent to you. Check it out: https://i.imgur.com/OyYieK1.jpg

Currently loaded with brand new Apex matched JJ 6L6s and a set of NOS Mesa 12ax7 from the late 80s in V1-V3. I have a random assortment of 12ax7 tubes that will come with it, JJs, Ruby's, Tungsram (yes these expensive daddies), as well as a handful more of the NOS Mesa ones. I also have a set of 4 Blue Label Mesa STR 415's. Admittedly I think one of them are on it's last legs, thus the JJs. I will ship all the tubes separately in another box. This tube set up loaded in it now is absolutely fucking bone crushing. I play nothing but straight death metal and this amp keeps me more than happy. This thing will destroy your eardrums if you put the master past 3. Out of all the IIC+s I've been in the room with, this is the second best sounding one.

Trades?
The only trade I would be interested in is a blue PRS Dustie Waring CE24 Floyd or Hardtail + Cash. I'm not really interested in anything else or full trades. I've gotten into a lot of medical debt with some complications my wife has had with some brain scans. I need the money.

Here's some videos of it in action. Face plate's off because I was comparing tubes.

I’m sorry about your wife and I just want to say I hope everything begins to turn around. I know how this feels. I sold a mint 1971 1992 100W for a cheap price by today’s standards to cover medical bills for a rescue husky I adopted.

would you happen to have a head shell for sale by any chance?

You know. If you talk to the diagnostic center; you can make some payments. In all reality, they cannot make you pay. It’s not like the govt coming after you. In fact you can tell them you will pay as much as you can monthly and do what you say … 20 bucks, 40 bucks and in all reality they will leave you alone IF you make an effort.

God if this was 5 days later this would be mine. My yearly bonus is next week and it's already burning a hole in my pocket

Thanks for the kind words, dudes. Not to get too into it, my wife is immune compromised and has severe asthma, alongside some of these other issues. It's all come to a head these past few years. If it's not one thing it's the other. It's mostly the whole thing of seeing out of network specialists, paying out of pocket for prescriptions and hoping insurance will reimburse you and other bologna. We've swapped insurance this year and it seems to be better now. I felt really guilty having stacks of amps and cabs behind me while trying to catch up with these bills and groceries. I've liquidated a lot of my other gear and thankfully with the sale of this amp I will have covered ALL of this remaining debt. My wife is doing good and I've still got some cool gear.

Congrats to the new owner, is he a RT guy?

Yup! @PhilC hit me up pretty much immediately after posting. I'm in the process of boxing this sucker up really nice before I take his money though.

I have severe asthma - no nebulizer but I do carry an emergency inhaler. I also have exercised induced asthma so I have another inhaler for that too I have to keep on me at all times. When I got BA5 it kept me down for over 2 weeks. I pulled through but I had some scary moments with blood ox levels getting into the high 80’s with my inhalers. Mid 80’s is ER room, low 80’s you can pass out and it’s lethal.

I will say there will always be more gear, and even though I sold that amp, I will always have first dibs to get it back if the new owner ever decides to sell. I’ve since found an amp that I fell in love with head over hells and it’s everything I wanted to do to the Superbass anyway, so it’s a win/win.

That's tough man. I can definitely sympathize. My wife's been hospitalized many times, there will most likely be many more. My daughter has been having trouble too. The only bright side is our kids insurance covers more. So my wife and daughter share a nebulizer and have the same script. We're stocked to the brim on the nebulizer juice. They sell nebulizer masks at the supermarket (shoprite) for less than $20! We bought a bunch to stock up for the future.

Amps will come and go, I'd sell them all and never play again if my wife could have good health tho!

Great amplifier, great price, great seller,
…unbelievable, clear pictures, what camera did you use for these?
Holy smokes, Clarity😳👍

I use a Fuji XT-4 with a Fuji XF 35mm f/1.4 R for these. I focus stacked the images of the front and back of the amp to make one really sharp image. The board pics are a little more of a pain in the ass. I had the camera mounted on a C-stand above set to f/16 on a long exposure (in fact I think the front ones are f/16 long exposure too). My C-stand is wobbly as hell so I couldn't focus stack with that one. I used to do a lot of work with a Sony a7II.. but for a lot of reasons jumped over to Fuji.. The fact I can use longer focal lengths with shorter sized lenses. My Fuji 23mm f/2 lens (35mm on full frame equivalent) is tiny. My Sony 35mm f/1.4 lens felt like a tallboy hanging off the front. Plus the Fuji has a cool community with their film simulations so you can "shoot" with Kodak Tri-X 400 or Ilford HP5. You can even shoot with something that simulates the all holy Kodachrome and swap on the fly between them all in one shoot. It's just a funner way to work for me.

Here's a bunch of guts of a DRG, SRG, SG, and HG. Still working on the layout. I can't decide how I'd want them on a poster.

These are all designed for 24x38 Poster/Prints. If anyone's in the NJ area and wants a cool poster/print of their amp, hit me up. I just need a couple hours with your amp.
