That would be me, (original owner, bought brand new)... I would also add that some low mids are more present. It adds a little beef too, especially if you like Gear 1. I put a pair in my Competition a couple weeks ago. As much as I love Gear 2, it made me love Gear 1 equally as well, and I live there of late, (with a boost).
The loops on these are fantastic, and the loop volume is a godsend. You truly can get killer tones at apartment levels.
