Very sadly, I must list my favorite guitar for sale. This is my 2021 Gibson Trini Lopez '64 Reissue that was M2M ("Made to Measure") to Dave Grohl DG-335 specs. This guitar is in mint condition with only a small amount of playwear at home.

There are three changes to this guitar that do NOT conform to the Dave Grohl specs.

The first is the neck. The DG-335 has a massive '58 neck on it. (I know this because I used to own one.) It's absolutely huge and maybe for Dave it's great, but I wanted something more reasonable so this has the standard '64 Trini Lopez neck carve, which is basically a Les Paul '59 "C" shape. It's NOT a slim taper.

The second is the pickups. Gibson would not make potted Burstbuckers like are on the DG-335, so I just got the stock Custombuckers. They were awful and super noisy (the unpotted pickup fad really needs to go away) so I replaced them with a set of Lollar Imperials. The neck is a standard Lollar Imperial and the bridge is a high-wind. They sound absolutely incredible in this guitar. It sounds just like Dave Grohl's potted BB2/BB3 combo in his guitars. That said, the stock Custombuckers are included with the sale if you choose to change them back.

The third is the finish. This is a VOS finish. All the DG models come with a standard gloss finish.

Otherwise, this is an exact copy of Dave Groh's guitar.

In case you don't know, as of last summer, Gibson will not make artist-spec'd guitars in the Custom Shop anymore. They won't even make anything close. They're fulfilling existing orders, but that's it. They won't make any more AJ Silverburst spec'd guitars, no more DG-335 spec'd guitars, no more Johnny Winter spec'd Firebirds. They want to retain the value for those collectors who have purchased the existing models. Also, while an Epiphone DG-335 is likely coming, there are no plans for Gibson USA or Custom models. So this is probably your last chance to grab one of these.

I absolutely HATE to part with this guitar but it is what it is. My loss is your gain. Good luck.

All sales are final. No returns. No cancelling your order once you place it. I suggest talking with your wife/husband before you purchase this guitar to avoid a conniption. Please ask all questions BEFORE buying.
