yeah, you international guys are usually left out. I just don't know much about selling overseas. I know I'd have to fill out a customs form. Stuff gets held in customs for weeks. Paypal takes a nice extra chunk out in currency conversion fees.

And you guys not only have to pay international postage rates, but when it gets over there don't you have outrageous taxes/fees to pay on it?

Paypal also has that policy about being able to hold on to the money for 21 days until item is delivered or positive feedback is left or something like that. That's never happened to me but I have seen postings from people that it has happened to.

I've also read where people that do sell international have said the safest and most effective way to complete the transaction is by bank wire transfer. I don't know anything about that either.

Basically a case of not knowing what exactly is involved, what the risks are, and how best to proceed. Sorry, mates.

I have sold internationally twice, it went off pretty good thus far, paypal fees, if I remember correctly, only a very small fee when dealing with the euro conversion. Shipping, use USPS, fair rates, just takes a little longer. The only bad part is the delivery is longer, and usps only tracks it untill it leaves the country I think. Customs for is very easy to fill out, though for some international deliveries, its better to declare a lower value so they don't get as much surcharges, but this is really the responsibility of the buyer.

if shipping internationally , just keep in mind that shipping will be a little extra, though usually not outrageous with usps. I personally like to try to keep it in the US first for simplicity reasons, but if no domestic takers, then I see why not give our international brothers some good ol gear :-)

We ship to Europe all the time. Our M4 thru the USPS is $98 to ship and usually get there in 6-10 days. No worries about it! Forms are scary looking but quite easy to fill out!

Oh ya Hank...why am I even discussing helping you ship your M4? Not happy with it?

I absolutely LOVE it! Tone, quality, ease of use, customer service all there in spades. Probably the best tube pre on the market in my lowly opinion. However, I also love my "other" tone machine. I wish I could justify keeping both but the other one just makes more sense for my situation and it's incredible in its own way. Also, I'm not a pro and I have a family and hence I have to keep a rational limit on my gear purchases. And that's the sad story of why I'm letting her go  Still, I kind of feel like this

You need to get a Mod50 then :). Get one w/ a 1x12 matching cab, and you'll be all set :).
