DESCRIPTION:
The 2020 reissue of the classic, instantly recognizable Fender HM Strat from the late 1980s in Fender's "Frozen Yellow" finish color.

Specs:
— Basswood body
— 25.1” scale length
— Bolt-on maple neck with micro-tilt adjustment
— Slim, thin C neck profile
— Maple fretboard with 17” radius
— 24 extra-jumbo frets
— Pickups: Seymour Duncan Black Winter (bridge) and specially designed, high-gain Fender single-coils (middle & neck)
— Controls: 5-way pickup selector blade, volume knob, two tone knobs (one for the bridge pickup, one for the middle & neck pickups), and a mini-toggle for coil-splitting the bridge pickup
— Floyd Rose Special tremolo
— Gotoh tuners

The stock bridge pickup from the factory has been swapped out for a Seymour Duncan Black Winter.

This guitar is effortless to play due to the feel of the neck profile. It's interesting. That's about the best I can describe it as. It truly is a "Thin C" shape, but the more narrow width (especially when we are used to wider fretboards on everything labelled as having a "thin neck" nowadays) does a bit to help facilitate faster playing by closing in the string spacing ever so slightly.

Bends are absolutely addictive thanks to the 25.1” scale length combined with the 17” fretboard radius and extra-jumbo fretwire. (Quick note: the fretwire is listed as “jumbo” on some dealers’ sites, but it definitely is extra-jumbo when compared to the frets on some of my other modern, shredder-friendly guitars.)

The quarter-sawn maple used for the neck is immaculate in grain, color, and cut. The neck just feels so nice to the touch, and it oozes Japanese craftsmanship.

Every aspect of the guitar is super clean and pristine, save for one small scratch on the back above the spring cavity plate that is difficult to capture in a photo due to the bright color of the finish.

An aftermarket hardcase will be included in the sale.

PRICE:
$850 OBO + shipping

Sellers in the secondhand market still seem to be asking $950-$1,050 for one of these 2020 reissue models in used condition with no case included. I’m coming in a bit below market value while also including a hardcase and an upgraded bridge pickup.

LOCATION:
East Coast, USA.
I can work with interested buyers on all shipping concerns domestically or internationally.

25"? bet that thing plays like butta....
The 25.1” scale length provides just a little more “give” to the strings, which is especially nice if you grew up like me playing .10 sets in E-standard or .11 sets half a step down.

Like I said in the description, bends on this guitar are addictive. Truly.

Location? Interested, but don't like to ship.
Mate, you’re on an Internet forum with members from all over the world. Shipping is an absolute necessity. It’s cheap. It’s easy. And it’s nothing to be scared of, especially when the guitar comes packed in a hardcase for transit, and when you’re dealing with a seller who has been shipping gear all over the world for over a decade (such as myself).

No problem. Where I live, there are no good options. I live very rural.
