Posting this to help clear some space up. This is a triple rectifier that is, essentially, mint. I believe it is an early triple. It was modded by JT about 2? Years ago. I also do not believe he is doing mods any more.
The amp is likely the biggest sounding amp I own. The JT is unlike my Hermansson in the sense it sounds very much like a traditional recto. It does not fundamentally change the character but makes it better and more usable to my ear. Low end is tighter, but absolutely massive, and mids are more presence. Fizz is reduced if not eliminated. The raw mode in particular sounds amazing and cops crazy rock rock tones.
His stuff is the cream of the crop, and this is not far behind. Just a different vibe. The Hermansson will slice your head off. This is a much bigger sounding amp that really leans into the rock/hard rock stuff. But I like the brootz.
haha JT was a mesa employee for a long time and opened his own shop doing mesa mods and direct boxes (I remember joe barresi endorsing them). I sent this one to him a bit ago and it rocks.

Good luck with the sale. Such a killer sounding and feeling amp. I still have mine and I agree 100% with your description. It’s not an overly saturated sounding amp but focuses rather on clarity, string definition all with a big tight low end and bold mids. Fits me perfectly.
