SOLD This is literally brand new. I took delivery for it today (12/1). I pulled it from the factory box just long enough to see that everything was 100% and take this mug shot. Sadly it is not what I am looking for right now and I can not return it due to the restock fees so my loss will be your gain.

It comes with the footswitch and cable, power cord and manual. Everything that would arrive to you from factory.

SOLD off forum

A few things of interest for trade considerations +/- $ where needed
- 100 watt high gain amp heads
- V shaped guitars
- USA Jackson's

Contact me with any questions. Scammers move on with your vague shady emails!

A properly setup Jubilee is one of my favorite amps of all time ( outside my 71 SLP ) Bias needs to be just right ( amp reacts poorly to crossover distortion ) My 89 Japanese jubilee kicks so much ass, im sure this amp will make whoever buys it VERY happy! GLWS!

I have a 2555 OG. I may prefer these ones because they have a little more aggression. Good luck with sale.

Is yours a silver or the black one? Marshall had 3 versions of the Jubilee circuit. The Final is what they used for the 1996 2555SL & Now used for the Reissue 2555x.

Interesting. Mine is a silver, later numbers for that series. I knew there was at least 1 circuit change. I had another early serial 2555 and the one later one I had stomped all over it. The first one sounded thinner and less aggressive to my ear.

By serial 3000 or so in 1987 the last preamp circuit variation was used, throughout the rest of 1987, and into 88/89 with the black tolex versions. I've probably had 10 originals over the years, and one 2555x. I did have a very early 2555, serial #340 something. It sounded pretty much the same as the later versions, but didn't have the low end like the last circuit. But not a thin amp.
These amps, you have to have either the Lead or Output master at 5 or above to get the full sound...any lower and it will be thin to win.

Don't sell this amp. It slays and just needs dialing in. I've had four of them and kept selling them off. My eyesight is declining and I can't see the knob settings on the mirror panel. But, when dialed in, these amps SLAY. Give it another try unless you just can't stand the look of it either.

Check the bias. Mine sounded like ass when I got it. The bias was way off. It’s a keeper now
Checked the bias and yeah it was high at 78mA per side. Lowered it to 70 per and it sounds like a Jub should!

Only reason I'm parting with it is because I ordered this for my son based upon our last conversation. When it arrived he had already decided on keeping his DSL50 and save up for a 2203 :doh:I should of asked prior but here we are. I only saw the restock fee for return after the fact. Lol wasn't planning on returning it! I'd keep it but I prefer the '88/'89 black versions best.
I figured that I would see if I could trade if for something more aggressive in nature. I'd been itching for an ENGL Savage again. Ran one for 6+ years before getting away from it.
