Some argue this is the best recto made. This is a special one for sure. Super clean, circa 1995 build, I am the 3rd owner. With or without boost, this amp is tight, aggressive, present, nicely balanced in the top end, and has plenty of gain. Loaded with factory Mesa coke bottle 6L6 and rectifier tubes. An assortment of 8th generation square getter Chinese tubes, JJ and EHX in the preamp. Serviced by Mike B two years ago, LDR issues resolved. This amp will last another 30 years. Comes with custom cover and metal retaining bar that I did not photograph.

Had 2 of these on stage way back in the day. One of the best tones I ever had. Always got compliments. GLWS!

I know he used a recto but Layne had a tremoverb that Jerry liked to play . Did he use it to record? Idk . I do not it was around. But the 95 tremoverb I had did that tone to a t
