I was recording in a certain university studio. I was tempted to bring a screwdriver and run away with the Eclipse.

I wouldn't do that though. I'll probably just buy an eclipse at some point.

I wouldn't do that though. I'll probably just buy an eclipse at some point.

Due to the increased prog power yeah the Eclipse would be the smart move, plus Ed D. may stop by yelling why buy the outdated 3000

I can only go by the facts that the Eclipse has much more firepower in the processer department, never heard an a/b between the two units. A very good 3000 SE with all the presets are going for around $1000-1300 so I have to say that the Eclipse is the way to go for about 300-400 more.

Egnater IE-4 = hands down, my absolute favorite


Hughes & Kettner Access = still responsible for my multi midi channel changing and phantom power. I still might use it for pre sounds.

ADA MP-1 Classic = in the mail right now. I can't wait to try the 4th channel.
