Suhr Standard Custom in a rare highly coveted stunning Pink Algae finish ! The complexity of the figuring and finish is 3D in nature, it lights up from every angle and is incredibly dynamic.
New this guitar lists for more than $5300. I am asking for far less.
The resonance and sustain is massive thanks to a perfect combination of some of the finest tonewoods around; according to John Suhr himself, a Basswood body combined with a Maple top is the "holy grail" of tone. The highly desirable and versatile Suhr pickups push this Standard into the upper echelon of versatility. If you had to take just one guitar to a gig or studio, this one would be the clear winner. These vintage voiced pups have a delicate tone at low volumes, but turn up and you can easily dive into higher-gain territory.
Guitar is in excellent shape. A few minor surface blemishes that need to be searched for and show up if lit at a certain angle. Ie, they are quite subtle. Frets immaculate, neck is true.
I had two additional custom pickguards made: one flat black and one mirrored purple. The purple has a few scratches on the inner coating. Also included are custom wood knobs that coordinate nicely with the spalted maple pickguard for more cosmetic flair* options. THESE ARE ALL INCLUDED.
