This is a Gorgeous guitar in outstanding condition!
Only flaws I can find are on the back & on the bottom near the strap button - just a few tiny dings/indentations.
The rest of the guitar is extremely clean!
2006 was the first year Gibson introduced the VOS finish, and the first year they started to Plek their guitars. (this has a very light VOS finish) Not exactly sure what the color is called......... Light Burst? Lemon Burst? Iced Tea?
The 2006 G0's are considered to be some of the very best Historics Gibson ever put out.
This is an acoustically resonant and an incredibly tonefull instrument!
It was such an awesome sounding/playing guitar that I decided to ship it out to Phil Jacoby in Maryland (arguably the best luthier in the US) and had him work his magic with a few upgrades.
Phil replaced the Frets with Stainless Steel 6100 frets and then Pleked the guitar (one of the few luthiers in the US that own a plek machine)
He also replaced the nut with a bone nut, and do a complete setup.
I've sent a couple of my main guitars to him in the past, and his work is absolutely stellar.
Pardon the cliche', but this guitar plays like Butta!
Gorgeous dark grained fretboard.
Weight is 9 lbs 4 oz on a digital postal scale.
Includes original Custom Shop - Custom Art Historic Hardshell Case
No COA.
Sold
Price - I'm looking to net $2399
Shipping should be around $65
