SOLD
I am selling a PRS McCarty with a solid rosewood neck in excellent condition. These are amazing instruments - the neck feels and sounds incredible. You get that wonderful, piano-like sound out of this best of all tonewoods. The coil-tapped McCarty pickups work so well in these guitars, giving you an openness to these guitars' thick sound, even when you play with gain. There's just no way to overstate the thick, huge tone you can get with this guitar. It has a very comfortable wide/fat neck that isn't too big. The frets have very little wear on them. The guitar is very light for its kind - only 7.89 lbs.
On some monitors, this guitar might look a little pink, but it is not in real life. It's red, but not screaming race car red. It's a nice attractive color without being gaudy. The back mahogany is also a bit striated and more interesting looking than I can capture in the photographs.
I have owned many solid RW neck guitars, and this one has the smoothest, best feeling neck of all of them, which means in is the best feeling neck I have ever played. It feels like it was just sanded perfectly smooth yesterday. This great guitar needs to be enjoyed, and I am not playing as much electric anymore. It needs to go to a good home.
This stunner is in wonderful condition. It has a small amount of tarnish on the bridge and pickup covers as you would expect from any guitar made in 2003. These normally sell for hundreds more, but I'm pricing this one to move, so please PM me quickly if you are interested. The last one I listed sold very fast. It comes with the original PRS hard shell case you see in the photos. It has two small marks on the top, but they are not very noticeable. I only mention them for full disclosure.
$1999 OBO plus $55 shipping CONUS includes Paypal fees, tracking, and insurance. It will be packed professionally, and I will pay for signature services so the driver doesn't just leave it unattended on a doorstep.
I will ship anywhere in the world if you pay shipping. PM me and we'll figure it out.
Sorry, I can't do any trades right now. Thanks for your interest.
