Hey All,
This is more of a feeler just to gauge interest. I'm not totally sold on moving this but I haven't played this in a few months and it is a waste to have it sit.
This is, no bullshit, the greatest work of art I have seen from the PRS Private Stock shop. I have owned 3 Private Stocks and the fit, finish, attention to detail, and craftsmanship left the other 2 in the dust. It is a buckeye burl top, with the pores left open, shot in a satin nitro. It has a black limba "tone block" in the center, with swap ash wings on the outside. PRS grain filled the rear-body swamp ash with a subtle olive drab color to match the greens in the buckeye. The body, neck, and headstock, are bound in buckeye burl. The inlays have a tremendous 3d effect as they are 3 pieces of tiger pearl and buckeye burl. It was sent back to PRS this year for them to wind and install some \m/ pickups that were uncovered with gold slugs and poles (the exposed pickups looked better than covered and the \m/ pickups are my favorite of all time). While it was there they did a setup on the guitar as well. There are a few minor imperfections on the guitar (which are hard to tell because of the open pore nature of the wood), but there are a few little marks on the back near the cavity cover and a small nick that was gone over and repaired in nitro on the edge of the carved top (again, hard to tell because the top is open pore). Otherwise it rocks. Specs below pics.
