Classic preamp from the metal days...this one has been modded by Voodoo Amps, I believe with their "Standard mod". Voodoo used to charge $300 for this mod, on top of the cost of the preamp. They stopped doing these mods about nine years ago. The best feature of the mod is that it makes the full signal path much quieter. When I bought this, I compared to a non-modded MP-1, and the difference at "idle" was very noticeable. I also compared to the "3TM mod", and I didn't care for the tone of that mod - it changed the character of the tone, and not in a way that I liked.

At any rate, this one works perfectly and is pretty clean on the face and inside. Lots of scraped on the top & bottom of the chassis. Not sure what these are selling for, and the un-modded ones on Reverb are $425-$500, so I'll put it up for $600 OBO shipped via Paypal.
Will consider a trade for a Marshall JMP-1 or Myasnikov preamps plus cash.
