1988 JCM 800 2203 100 watt Master Volume Series amp modded by me (David Hopkins) to my MorningStar Mod which is 3 (Low) stages & 4 (High) stages of all tube analog gain as heard in the video which is this actual amp with guitar straight in (High Input).

Original Transformers. Mullard EL34's.

On back is a Switch for a Saturation Clipper for added Compression & Darkness. Amp is complimented with a by-passable Metropoulos Zero Loss Effects Loop.

Head box is in good shape as seen in photo.

The Work is Terminal Strip, True Point to Point and PCB work. This avoids a co-planar layout for optimal tone keeping all components from being on the same level as can be seen in photo.

The amp was modded before. I acquire these to "Rescue". $*,***. Plus actual shipping.

CONUS ONLY. Ships either UPS or FedEx Insured.

Any questions please send them to me. Thanks for the interest.

That sounds mean. Love your work David. I have in route to me a JCM 800 with your Pandora mod w/smooth switch. Can wait to try it out. Seems like you really dialed in "that tone" that may of us grew up listening to and still love to this day. Really like to see how the Pandora mod compares to my 2018 BE100 and Bogner Helios.

Keep up the great work!

Hello and thank you for the kind words. I too would be interested in your feedback when compared to the other circuits. Perhaps you could email me at New_Religion@Live.com when the Pandora arrives to give me some feedback.

In addition I believe the Pandora you are receiving also has the V-Mod which reduces the power tube dissipation giving the amp a lot more sag and brown tone. There is a Warning Label but just to ensure the Tech makes certain the switch is Down in the Off position when biasing the power tubes.

Congratulations and thanks for the remarks. I look forward to hearing from you.

Amp is due to arrive tomorrow. The Veterans Day holiday and the lovely snow storm that we got here in the Midwest didn't help with the delivery time! Oh speaking of Veterans Day, thank you for you service.
