The mother of all Slax! You won't find another one like this guaranteed. $1k of mods directly from the man himself, bedroom to stadium it's all here. Dead mint condition and never gigged, smoke free studio. FULL retube by Dave. Tubes have very low hours.
Modifications by Dave Friedman
1.) "Clean" switch for channel 1 can go from stock cleans (fairly hairy) to Plexi cleans (sparkling, high headroom).
2.) Frequency shift knob (channels 2 and 3) is a two position switch. Position 1 is stock where position 2 shifts the mid frequencies for more "presence". Think mid bump.
3.) Response knob (channels 2 and 3) is a negative feedback control that is probably my favorite mod of them all. Cranking it clockwise adds a TON of aggression and cut. 10 o'clock is stock tone.
4.) Footswitchable Effects Loop with dedicated single button footswitch.
5.) Additional preamp tube - While inside the amp, Dave noticed an issue in the preamp circuit and added a tube to dial in channel separation. He mentioned that he will be doing this to all new Butterslax moving forward!
6.) Custom black faceplate (original faceplate included, see photos)
Amp will ship in the original packaging with everything in the first photo included. Don't settle for a stock Slax! Cheers!
