Up for grabs is my Peavey 6505+ USA production . With added Mercury Magnetics Input and Output transformers as well a Mercury choke. Also has a detachable power cord mod. All modification work was done by Lickliter amplification. Great sounding amp was my #1 for a good while.
I was told that there was some small tweaks to improve the clean/crunch. Im not exactly sure what that involved , everything was done at the same time by Lickliter. I have had stock 6505+ amps and this amp overall cleared up the "junk" around the notes if that makes sense, its more polished now. . More clean headroom. The core sound is still 5152 though its not modded to sound like something different but definitely sounds great to me . I just get bored and like to try new things, move my money around. If I could keep every amp I like I would.
Ha I did the Blackface mod but with a 215C it effects the other two modes of the clean channel and it was a bit of a sacrafice, but this amp deservesto find a new home where it will be used more.
