Some dude at the Sloclone boards, cloned a Mark IIC+

I wonder if he put a 5 band on it with that title. If you wanted simil-class what output tran can you use? It did sound cool. If he post pic please say so. I think this is very cool.
 
I Randel Smith talking about the eq having way over sized capasitors to saturate the tone{or something like that}. I was thinking of doing a plexi/super lead back around 01. There is a lot more going on now. My Champ needs some work, I am going to mod it as that happens. There are a few classics that I would be into doing-Marshall/Fender/Vox. But now that some of the more modern sounding amps are being done. It has me thinking agian.
 
I'm almost done with this one and I'm working on a SloClone as well........

Cool... I built a MkIIC+ preamp a few years ago, and it sounds huge through my MK IV's power section. I prefer its sound to the MKIV's preamp actually...
 
I have been following the post. It seems that it is going pretty fast. I like the idea of doing it myself. Controling whats there/whats not. I am building a monster in my head. The modern/hot rod amps I like all seem to come from that Fender/Marshall 100 watt start. Bias points-very cool-swap out the power tubes without taking it apart. :thumbsup:
