i´m just about to order some new tubes for my Herbert, I considering putting in two 6L6´s and four E34L´s.
My question regarding this is, does the placement of the tubes alter the sound (does it make a difference if I put the 6L6´s in the middle our on the outer position)? Anyone running their Herbert with this combo?
Second question is about the preamp tubes, I want a little more bite and presence in channel 2 (get it a little bit more like ch.3), what kind of tube and in what position?
