Hi Holger,

did you use the cam mic or a "real" mic and you've synced later?
The beginning sounds very cool, but later when you're playing full level it sounds (very) buzzy to my ears.
 
Nice playing man....reminded me a little bit of Vai in Crossroads (the movie) hehehe

That´s recorded with a SM57 "right in the face" very centered to the speaker. The guitar ain´t got a tone pot, so there is a lotta bite, specially with Angus-B in Alnico 5. Presence´s been almost way up! That´s just one of the first clips I done, and I´m going to improve anything that´s possible to improve. Was´nt easy to find the right software for my "ol´school" Mac (G4 733) to make that kind of recording possible. Movie from the cam and sound from soundcard / SM57. Quicktime Pro does not work properly, and iMovie 7 (from iLife 08) does not run on my Mac. So I´m really happy that "bullshit´s" finally working good enough, so I can make some clips!

That Crossroads movie, is it still the same title in german? I seen that movie years ago, but only once! Would like to see that again!

Hey Olaf: May be "my ears" are that "well broken in" so I need that xtra bite or buzz to hear what I´m playing! :rock:

As I've said: the inbetweens sound amazing, just the cranked isn't my jar of whiskey ;)
 
I can only listen to it through my cheap laptop speakers, but I really dig the tones. :rock:
