Einstein + JM strat =

Hello Joey,
thx for sharing. Liked your tone a lot, especially on the last part.
Keep up the good work!

thank you man.... I'm pushing myself on improv. guitar

I find it's the most fun but it's not that easy to improvise and make it sound REALLY creative and almost mistake-less

But this videos make me wanna try harder and I go back to them 3, 4 or 5 months later and see what I did right/wrong, what I improved and so on.

3 more years Joey and we play and sing in the same league as Joe Bonamassa!

damn man..I hope! hehehehe

As with everything, practice makes perfect right?

totally get what you're saying Sgt!

that's what I wanna do man. Learn to improvise. Get to know the fretboard to such an extend that I can do whatever I want without really thinking about it.

I'm on my way man..I won't give up untill I'm REALLY good at this.....I don't wanna be good to brag, about it, but I do want people to say "wow man, that guy is fucking great!!"

Nice. I think you need to hit the guitar harder for that SRV type thing. He often hit all 6 strings at once but you only heard one note.

Man Stevie was a monster, that guy used to hit the strings like if he was trying to break them.

by the way, the song I was playing along with is this version of Stevie and Albert King

fucking great!

Thx for the vid Joey. Didn`t see that before. That was f..ing great. Steve Ray was an incredible guitar player. Haven`t been a lot of people with such talent around on this planet playing the guitar. He is like what Kasparov was for chess playing. Can`t possible imagine that there is any other way, than having quite a rare set of genes, to get that incredibly good.

welcome Xman.

You know man....I know it takes something special to be at genious levels in anything in life..... but you can get to that one step away from geniousness with hard work and LOTS of practice. I do believe that honestly.

Maybe you won't get to genious levels per se, but you definitely can get only one step away without "genetics".

I don't wanna be cocky, but I will get fucking good at this man... I just need to keep practicing and burn my fingers off!

Best of luck to you Joey.
Here is a video to Stevies legitimate successor.

Know some people who got to know him and all and everone says the same: Extremly talented.
But either way from time to time i get frustrated. Have played the classical guitar for quite a while and pretty intensely and can play stuff up to the level of La Catedral by Barrios. But nonetheless it works quite well in my bedroom but when going out and playing for people i play just about half as good as i play at home. With other words i am a bedroomchampion   When i see concerts like this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfgnmfEiU64 or this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6ZPt2Lxw00 i really have problems to understand how these people do that:

With other words i am sure that i would find a way with intense practice being able to get an ELO above 2400 as a chess player and get to lets say to Grandmasterlevel (sorry if that sounds like bragging) but i can`t imagine at all how i could get as good as the guys above in playing the guitar- but thats unfortunately what i want.
