Me and my wife are here at Sonisphere in the UK. Partied up in Stevenage last night with some of the sound crew for the festival. Ready for some rock...bring it on. Two days of sex, drugs and rock & roll (maybe not in that order though)!

BFMV was awesome and LP was pretty good. Antrhax feckin rocked though. Not a huge fan of from the grave music of Dio, but Tony Iommi still has it going on with Heaven & Hell. Had a bit of rain but nothing too bad. Not a cloud in the sky this morning, so looks to be a good day for the lineup. Will pop by the Bohemia tent dude.

Metallica were awesome. They played for about 2 1/2 hours and we were right up at the stage. Came away with one of Hamsters picks (he uses triangle picks). It happened to be Hetfields birthday and his kids came out and smeared a few birthday cakes and pies on him and squirted a dozen or so cans of silly string on him. Then all 100,000 people sang Happy Birthday to him. I was still in awe the next day.

Anyway, we back in the Land of Sand. Sonisphere did a hell of a job organizing the festival and Knebworth is a great venue.
