I've been thinking about doing this for a while and finally decided to go through with it. I'm selling off my whole rig (except a couple pedals), replacing it with a Strat and a Mark III combo and then I'm just going to focus on improving my playing. I'll probably try to find a good teacher in the Pittsburgh area to take lessons from when I'm done with school in May as well. I've had my fun buying and selling gear, but I really want to get better as a player now. I'll be perfectly content with a Strat and a Mark III combo so here is all my current stuff on Ebay.

Bias Modded Peavey 5150 - SOLD!

Gibson Explorer - SOLD!

Marshall 1960AX 4x12 w/Greenbacks - SOLD!

Digidesign Mbox2 - SOLD!

Peterson Strobostomp - SOLD!

Shure SM57 - SOLD!

Radial Engineering J48 Active Direct Box

The Greenback cab is very tempting.

Buy it, it sounds great.

I was looking through some random crap at home this weekend and I found that one CD of lessons you sent me a long time ago. I'll have to finally check that stuff out.

That's cool you want to focus on improving your playing, do you really think you'll be able to resist the buying/selling though since you've been at it for quite awhile

Your new DeMartini is a magic guitar that never goes out of tune?
Is that why you are selling the tuner pedal ;) :D

Best idea in ages Mark  You know i thought this was a good idea a while back when we spoke anyways! Decent amp and guitar will go a long way when you really start working on your chops

I have another cheap tuner. Obviously not as good as the Strobostomp but it works well enough.

What happened to the Horus?
Did that dude from the cap' forums buy it?

I'm holding it for him right now, yeah.

Blast

I just ordered a cab from Avatar mere minutes before you posted this, otherwise I'd have bought yours

Oh well, I don't really need a 4x12 for the living room :aww:

Good luck with the sales

Wow awesome

Does that mean your going to learn all of Ratt's songs now ?? haha

Mark, this is a surprise. So you're giving up your gearwhore status?

Haha, I've been messing around with a few of them. I love the riffs in Looking For Love.

That's my plan. Hopefully I can stick to it. I remember back when I first started playing all I did was want to sit down and learn new stuff and get better. I haven't had that feeling in a LONG time, so that's where I want to get back to.

How come your not keeping your recording gear?

I find myself playing more now since I tried recording.. too bad I suck too much to post my stuff :)
