Hi,

At the moment I use my TL right next to my amp, with very short 1 meter speaker cable.
However it would be more convenient to put the TL in my rack. For this I would have to use a 3 meter cable.

People have warned me against this, because of possible latency increase. I wonder if that would really be such an issue.

Anyone?

Cheers, Oscar

The signal will travel at approximately the speed of light, which would be approximately a million feet per second (300,000'ish meters per second, times 3.28 for feet.) So to get a millisecond of delay you'd need almost a 1000 foot long cable or so.

Don't worry about it.

You should consider not having technical discussions with these people. ;)
