hi peter
next week i go to buy vh4 or herbert , but i have a question:
i have a vht cabinet with p50e speaker ( eminence ) what do you think?
is suitable? i really like it but i don't know how it sonds with the diezel
with the dual rectifier suonds terrible...boo
respectfully

Oi!
Does it matter, whether some dudes will say "yeah, it's awesome!" or "it sucks!"?
Basically go to the store and try every cab thats there and your own.
My opinion: A diezel always kicks ass, big time! (and even kicks more ass with an awesome diezel cab!)

Im not Meister Peter, but I think you might want to hear this.

Two or three years ago I had VHT FatBottom 2x12" with P50Es for a while, but sold it rather soon. Didn't like it that much with VH4. Check this: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=73734 .

...and these are only my personal opinions so someone will very likely copletely disagree with me.

ok thanks for the clarification ;)
but I would also like an opinion from peter on 4x12 vht coupled with a diezel

I haven't tried a VHT cab but even my Marshall cab sounds good with the Diezels. Yeah Im pretty sure that a Diezel cab might suit the amp better...

If not you could just swap speakers if you don't mind having a brand mismatch in your head/cab...

On my Diezel 2x12, I had the Emminence speakers in it that are similar to the P50 from what I have been told at least......I liked it when I had my Einstein.
I thought I liked it when I got my Herbert.
then I put in a Vintage 30 on the left side and G12K-100 on the right side and realized that they really didn't sound all that good anymore.

This speaker combo rocks for me. Tons of clarity and bottom end. While one has more mids than the other, the other has more bottom to reciprocate.
