Spl Transducer

not personally, but have heard some clips, sounded pretty good, a little less filtered then say a palmer, looks like it has some nice features.

A friend of mine who is a producer had it in his studio to try it out. He also used the Palmer PGA-04 i used to have and compared both. Of course everything is a matter of taste but he said he couldn't get any good tone out of the Transducer. The Palmer sounded a lot better in his opinion.
I haven't heard it myself so I can't give you any input here. But what I've learned is, that all those load box recording tools imo only make sense of your want to do silent recording at home. If you have the possibility to play at least a little above bedroom level and buy yourself a decent mic you'll get away with less money and get tones just as good as a speaker simulation.

I am sure it is amp dependant, and I do believe they revised it a bit, I have heard 2 different clips and they sounded quite good, a bit more lively then the palmer, which can be over filtered a bit. I prefer the Palmer 03 over the 04 as well. I really like combining a mic'd speaker with a di'd palmer track, gives a nice variety in stereo.
